Trenchless sewer repair is a popular method for fixing damaged pipes with minimal excavation. However, it’s not ideal for repairing a sewer line belly. Because the underlying issue is a slope or grading problem, the sag in the pipe remains even after trenchless relining. In most cases, correcting a belly requires excavating the area and physically realigning or replacing the affected section, a more involved form of plumbing repair.
